Arthur Drew Streigle, 55
A celebration of the life of Art Streigle, 55, of Pontiac, will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2020, at Pontiac / Price Place Volunteer Fire Department Station #1 next to the Pontiac post office on W Highway. A benefit chicken dinner and pie-and-cake auction will follow the service as a fundraiser to help the Streigle family with expenses related to his final illness. Mr. Streigle died March 14 at his home.
He was born June 20, 1964, in Sigourney, Iowa, the son of Arthur Dick and Loretta L. Baumert Streigle. He attended Sigourney High School, and on April 21, 1984, he married Diana Lynn Seaba. They lived in the Sigourney and Packwood, Iowa, area and later moved to Pontiac.
Mr. Streigle was a family man. He drove a truck for many years and was a dedicated mechanic. He was currently employed at Baxter Healthcare in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He always took care of his family. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, boating, spending time with his family and being the fire chief of Pontiac / Price Place VFD. He was proud of his children and was head-over-heels about his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Diana Streigle of Pontiac; one son, Alan Streigle and wife Jennifer of Mountain Home; two daughters, Devon Jarvis of Pontiac and Trisha Hathcock and husband Anthony of Tecumseh; five grandchildren, Peyton and Trinity Hathcock, Whitney and Sierra Jarvis and Kallie Risley; his mother, Loretta Streigle; three sisters, Sue Pfannebecker and husband Pat, Kathy Brower and husband Greg, Alisca deRegnier and husband Doug; and one brother, Aaron Streigle and wife Tammy.
He was preceded in death by his father; his grandparents; and one granddaughter, Cheyenne.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family for final expenses.
