Karen Jo Hardin, 51
A memorial service for Karen Jo Hardin, 51, of Jackson, Tennessee, will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017, at Elijah Church of Christ. Ms. Hardin died Sunday, Oct. 22, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
She was born Oct. 13, 1966, in West Plains, the daughter of Joe and Francie Hardin. She graduated from Bakersfield High School.
During her adult years she was employed by Bruce Hardwood in West Plains and later was a homemaker. She enjoyed poetry and history and loved her grandmothering role as “MeMe” most of all. Those who knew her always had something funny to tell about her; her sense of humor always shined through. She was of the Church of Christ faith.
She is survived by one child, Chelsea See and husband Eric of Bakersfield; four grandchildren, Haylee See, Hannah See, Shelby See and Landon See (her best buddy); two sisters, Myra Sasseen and husband Bobby, and Sandy Hardin of Caulfield; one brother, Scott Hardin of Caulfield; three nieces, Shyla Simpson, Kashia Zumwalt and Brittany Bennett; and one nephew, Robby Hardin.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one niece, Carissa “Coot” Bennett.
