Wanda Jean ‘Val’ Cisco, 92
Wanda Jean “Val” Cisco, 92, formerly of Gainesville, died March 4, 2020, at her home near Center, Texas.
She was born March 15, 1927, in Nacogdoches, Texas, the daughter of Eric Alford and Mary Sue Jones Alford. In 1944, she married William Stevens, with whom she had three sons. In 1959, she married Guy Cisco, with whom she had a son and a daughter. After Mr. Cisco retired from the Air Force, the family relocated to a small farm in the Gainesville area.
Mrs. Cisco was a long-time homemaker but later in life became a local mail carrier.
She is survived by her sons, Rick Stevens and wife Lotta of Center, Texas, and Guy Cicso and wife Ann of Wasola; her daughter, Valentine Parks of Fort Collins, Colorado; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Guy; two sons, Jim and Bill Stevens; and a grandson, John Stevens.
