GJHS runners medal at Willow

Gainesville Junior High School runners Maverick Bushner, left, and Hannah Evans both medaled at the Willow Springs Middle School Invitational cross country 2,500-meter run held Thursday, Sept. 28, at Willow Springs Municipal Golf Course. Maverick placed 10th in the boys’ race with a time of 10:23.80. Hannah took ninth place in the girls’ race with a time of 11:06.59. The cross country team is coached by Gary Emrick.
