Leeker hits walk-off homerun at Missouri Southern

Jake Leeker, son of Tom Leeker and Jodi Leeker of Gainesville, had a walkoff homerun for his debut at bat at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin. The Missouri Southern baseball team hosted their home opener against the St. Cloud State University Huskies on Friday, Feb. 7. The Lions trailed by one as they entered the bottom of the ninth. Jake pinch-hit and sealed the game with a walk-off, two-run homerun, clinching the 3-2 victory.
