Woman rescued at high-water crossing

A woman was rescued from her Buick LeSabre about 9:30 Friday morning after her car became inundated with water as she attempted to cross Haskins Ford, a low-water bridge near Isabella.

The woman, whose name was not immediately available, was not injured but was cold and wet.

Heavy rains the past couple days caused the creek to swell. This spot has had many victims over the years following heavy rains.

Details will be in Wednesday's Ozark County Times.
