Christopher Randolph, pictured with wife Marrissa and daughter Avery, has been hired as the Gainesville athletic director and boys basketball coach.

Gainesville native Christopher Randolph has been hired as the boys basketball coach and the athletic director at Gainesville School District for the 2022-23 school year. He replaces Morris Jenkins, who is retiring this summer after a 32-year coaching career. He’s spent the last 8 years at Gainesville, serving as both coach and athletic director at Gainesville.

Randolph, a 2010 graduate of Gainesville High School, comes to the district from the Pierce City School District where he has spent the previous three years as a head basketball coach.

Coach Randolph received his Bachelors Degree in physical education from College of the Ozarks in 2015 and his masters in education administration from Lindenwood University in 2019.

Chris is married to Marissa Randolph and they have 1-year-old daughter Avery.

Randolph had this to say about returning to GHS: “I am more than honored to get the opportunity to return to my hometown and serve this community as its boys basketball coach. Some of my fondest memories come from my time wearing the Bulldog jersey, and I hope to provide my players and all students with some of those same positive experiences. I can’t wait to start this new journey, and although I’ve always been a Bulldog at heart, I am excited to make it official again!”
