Lunch is served daily from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and is open to everyone. The cost is $6 for those younger than 60; a $3.50 donation is requested for those over 60. Call 679-4746 to order take-out for 25 cents more.
Wednesday, July 4: Closed in observance of Independence Day. Thurs-day, July 5: beef Stroganoff, garlic bread, Italian vegetables, apple cobbler. Friday, July 6: fried fish, brown beans, cole claw, cornbread, peach cheesecake. Monday, July 9: orange chicken, rice, egg roll, country vegetables, vanilla cake. Tuesday, July 10: beef and bean burrito, roasted corn and black beans, Mary Lee’s dump cake. Wednesday, July 11: barbecue on the deck, grilled hot dogs and sausages, baked beans, coleslaw, blueberry muffins. Thursday, July 12: pork loin, roasted potatoes, carrots, fresh-baked roll, cheesecake.

OATS

OATS transportation is available to the entire county and to anyone regardless of age, income, disability, race, gender, religion or national origin. If you don’t see your area listed below, call driver Angela Pleasant, 417-343-0573, for help arranging your ride. For rides from Bakersfield, Caulfield and Dora, call Jean Lawing, 284-7377; from Theodosia and Gainesville, call Mary Piepergerdes, 679-4142. To arrange rides to Springfield, call Lawing or Pleasant. The last OATS trip in June is Thursday, June 28: Caulfield and Bakersfield go to West Plains.

Each Thursday of the month Caulfield and Bakers-field go to West Plains.  Monday, July 9: Pontiac, Theodosia and Gainesville go to Springfield. Tuesday, July 10: Theodosia and Gainesville go to West Plains. Monday, July 16: Caulfield and Bakersfield go to Mountain Home, Arkansas. Tuesday, July 17: Theodosia and Gainesville go to Mountain Home. Tues-day, July 24: The whole county goes to Gainesville. The Ozark County Food Pantry is open at a special time this day for OATS riders only. Also, the OATS business meeting is this day at The Center at 12:30 p.m. Business meetings are open to the public. Monday, July 30: Pontiac goes to Branson.
