Menus
Lunch is served daily from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and is open to everyone. The cost is $6 for those younger than 60; a $3.50 donation is requested for those over 60. Call 679-4746 to order take-out for 25 cents more.
Wednesday, July 11: barbecue on the deck, grilled hot dogs and sausages, baked beans, coleslaw, blueberry muffins. Thursday, July 12: pork loin, roasted potatoes, carrots, fresh-baked roll, cheesecake. Friday, July 13: fried fish, brown beans, coleslaw, cornbread, peach cobbler. Monday, July 16: chicken strips, mashed potatoes and gravy, Tuscan vegetables, homestyle biscuits, ice cream bar. Tuesday, July 17: lasagna, California-blend vegetables, garlic bread, chocolate chip cookie. Wednesday, July 18: meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, seasoned green beans, homestyle biscuit, strawberry angel food cake. Thursday, July 19: cook's surprise.

OATS

OATS transportation is available to the entire county and to anyone regardless of age, income, disability, race, gender, religion or national origin. If you don't see your area listed, call driver Angela Pleasant, 417-343-0573, for help arranging your ride. For rides from Bakersfield, Caulfield and Dora, call Jean Lawing, 284-7377; from Theodosia and Gainesville, call Mary Piepergerdes, 679-4142. To arrange rides to Springfield, call Lawing or Pleasant. This is the OATS schedule for the rest of July:
Each Thursday of the month Caulfield and Bakersfield go to West Plains. Monday, July 9: Pontiac, Theodosia and Gainesville go to Springfield. Tuesday, July 10: Theodosia and Gainesville go to West Plains. Monday, July 16: Caulfield and Bakersfield go to Mountain Home. Tuesday, July 17: Theodosia and Gainesville go to Mountain Home.  Tuesday, July 24: Whole county goes to Gainesville. Food pantry open for those on the bus. Our business meeting will be on this day at The Center at 12:30. Business meetings are open to the public. Monday, July 30: Pontiac goes to Branson.
