Betty Ann Duggan, 77
Funeral services for Betty Ann Duggan, 77, of Protem, were held Oct. 4, 2022, at the Protem Community Church with Pastor David Koenig officiating. Burial was at the Protem Cemetery.
She died at her home on Sept. 29.
Betty was born on March 27, 1945, in Protem, the daughter of Elmer Richard and Virginia Rose Blankenship Dunn. She was a lifelong resident of the area and worked as a CNA at Lakeview Nursing Home and then the Plantation Hills Nursing Home in Forsyth for several years. After that she worked as a cook at Mark Twain School.
She loved gardening and her flowers.
Most of all she loved spending time with her family which was very important to her.
She married Bob Duggan on Aug. 18, 1962, in Theodosia, and they had four children.
She is survived by her husband Bob of the home in Protem. Four children: Betsy Booher and husband Tony of Branson, Reba Retell and husband Norm of Protem, Lisa Herd and husband Jerry of Protem and Robbie Duggan of Springfield; siblings: Mary Muller of Hilda, Joe Dunn of Inyokern, California, Martie Dunn of Taneyville and Margie Luper of Waco, Texas; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers: Dean, Gene, Max and Francis Dunn; two nieces: Brenda and Tammy Dunn and nephew, Brad Dunn.
Arrangements are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson.
