Judy Faye Spinner, 72

Judy Faye Spinner, 72, of Isabella, died peacefully in her sleep at home on June 16, 2022. Her ashes will be transported to Keystone Cemetery in Dobbins, California, so she can be laid to rest with her parents. A memorial may be held at a later date.

She was born on July 23, 1949, in Gainesville, the daughter of Charlie Alton and Dora Lorene (Chisam) Long.

Judy moved away from Ozark County when she was 14 and lived a long life away from home. Judy fulfilled her dream of coming home in 1991 and married the love of her life, Melvin Spinner, on June 15, 1992. She spent the next 20 years unceasingly caring for “her boys” as a caregiver, was a long-time member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary at VFW Post #5366 in Isabella, enjoyed spending time on the water with family and was always surrounded by her “fur-babies.”

She was preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Mel; and brother, Floyd Long.

She is survived by her children: Larry DeCamp of Isabella, Paula Williams and husband Ken of Springfield, and June Spinner of Atchison, Kansas; grandchildren Amanda Drott and husband JD, Jessica Mayabb and Joseph Williamson and wife Jenn; great-grandchildren Ayshea McMasters, Leyla Bryant, Leighton Tucker and John Drott Cody, Abigail, Breanna, Katy and Candace Williamson; and a very special friend/sister Elizabeth Hill.

Cremation services are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville.
