Larry Eugene Contreras, 57

Larry Eugene Contreras, 57, died peacefully at his home in Tecumseh on Nov. 11, 2024, with God and his family by his side. He was born to Richard and Patsy Contreras on June 20, 1967, in Apple Valley, California.

Larry loved his family first and foremost. He married his soulmate Annia on June 18, 1988, and they had two children together, Brian and Brianna Contreras. Most of his time was spent with them. 

He was a dedicated, hardworking, faithful, God-fearing man. Larry was a loyal, honest person – a helper to all. He was very giving to others. He was a greatly heartfelt and genuine friend. 

He was a skilled builder and construction worker for most of his life. Larry was a professional truck driver for 15 years. He was a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none, as he would say. He loved working with wood. Building, creating and wood turning were his passions and hobbies.

His church home was with Anew Church of Gainesville.He was greatly loved and will be missed dearly.

Larry is survived by wife Annia Contreras; son Brian Contreras; daughter Brianna Contreras; siblings Mike Contreras, Joe Contreras, Steve Contreras, Juanita Contreras and Suzy Contreras; and many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his father Richard Contreras; mother Patsy Contreras; grandmother Mary Koch; and all other grandparents.
