Antonio Angelo Aguilar Jr., 37

Antonio Angelo Aguilar Jr., 37, of Kansas City, Kansas, died June 5, 2020, near Tecumseh. A celebration of his life will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, July 11, in James P. Davis Hall at Wyandotte County Lake, Kansas City, Kansas. 

He was born April 12, 1983, in Kansas City, the son of Manuel and Donna Aguilar. He grew up in Kansas City and attended Bishop Ward and Washington High Schools. He held an automotive mechanic’s license from AVTS and enjoyed working on vehicles. Most recently he had been working at Lowe’s in Kansas City. 

He liked to fish and enjoyed being outdoors. He loved thunderstorms, sunsets, the moon, stargazing and fireworks. He also loved hanging out and spending time with friends and family. He especially enjoyed spending time with his son, Brent, in Ozark County. 

Survivors include his parents, Manuel and Donna Aguilar of Tecumseh; his son, Brent Aguilar of Tecumseh; sisters Vera Stecher and husband John, and April Rounds and husband Philip, all of Kansas City, Kansas, Camille Kendrick and husband Ray of Kansas City, Missouri, and Holly Jacobs and husband Justin of Olathe, Kansas; and one brother, Joshua Aguilar of California.  

He was preceded in death by his sister, Bree Aguilar.
