My sympathy to Robert Miller on the passing of his brother Jon on Dec. 23, 2016, at the age of 55.
On Dec. 24, Gary and I went to Ernest and Dara Strong’s home for Christmas dinner. Other guests were Ralph and Dana Brazeal; Howard and Ella Faye Mitchell; Del, Tanya and Zane Scott; Roy and Wesley Strong; Lafe Adams; Bailey Strong and Chelsey; Brayden and Lilly Lansdown; Zamber Little; Wyatt and Liviya Wharton; Tiffanee Satterfield; Zoe Shull; Steven and AnnaBelle Johnson; John, Tabitha, Stormi and Kasey Medlock; Oceanna Meile; Honie Nokes; and Warren Merrifield. Cody Shanafelt was around there, too. Later, Cody, Hannah and Charleigh Strong and Hunter Huff came. John and Cole Little weren’t there because they went to John’s sister Kim Yeager’s in Bakersfield.
Wasn’t it great to go to church on Christmas morning? And to think about how excited the shepherds were that they were the first ones to see baby Jesus and went telling everyone what they saw.
Christmas evening I went to Murray Church to their Christmas program.
Ted and Linda Bischoff spent Christmas afternoon with their daughter Yvetta and her husband.
Eddie and Linda Sears’ guests Christmas weekend were their son, Terry and wife Marla and Marla’s daughter Zaylee.
The last Friday of December, I went to the Theodosia area and visited with Uncle Rayford Clayton and Madeline Brown. Then on to visit Virginia Porter. My last stop was with Kenerd, Norma, Belinda, Brent and Kaylin Lawrence.
