The warmer days are helping everything look better. My big pink bush is blooming.

We hope a bunch of the kids got to kill a turkey last weekend.

The storm that went through last week knocked some poles and trees down, and we lost power for a while. Paul pulled out our generator so we had a late breakfast.

We thank the guys for getting the power back on in a short time.

Paul went to Kingdom City to help Chris put his heating and cooling unit in. And we went to Branson to the eye doctor last week.

On Friday, John Donley, Kent Henson and Wally helped Paul work cattle. Still have more to go.

We picked up beef from Gibson’s on Monday.

We went to Rockbridge after church Sunday and got to visit with Sonny Trent a few minutes. We recalled some of the things we had happen when we were both at school.

Vic Williams was back with us at church on Sunday. We invite the visitors back.

Dwain, Betty, Leroy and Norma took a little trip to West Plains Saturday and ate at the Mexican place. They went on to Mammoth Spring park. Paul and I stopped there a few years ago. It’s sure worth your time to see the huge spring and the old train depot.

Dave and Mary Morrison spent a few days with Travis and the grandkids last week.

We appreciate Leroy picking up trash along the highway.

I put my first hummingbird feeder out Sunday evening. Some have already seen birds, but we haven’t so far.

Our prayers are with the sick folks.

Everyone have a good week, and don’t eat too many mushrooms.
