The Gainesville chess team (Logan Funk, Aydan Cisneros, Jamon Crisp and Colton Dunn) placed second at the Willow springs Invitational Chess meet. Logan, Aydan and Colton also placed among the top 15 individuals, with Logan placing ninth overall, Aydan was 11th and Colton 12th.
