Dora High School senior Cade Nold took third place out of 129 runners with his time of 17:44.94 at the Steve Waggoner Invitational cross country meet held Thursday at Willow Springs Golf Course. The Dora boys team placed sixth. Dora’s next meet is at 4 p.m. today at Alton High School.

The Dora JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) class visited Midwest Technical Institute in Springfield Aug. 29, and toured the welding, cosmetology, medical coding, medical specialists, phlebotomy and dental assistant programs. The class also learned about the HVAC-R and truck driving offerings from MTI. Dora’s JAG class is focused on exposing students to various options and career paths after high school graduation.
